This policy explains how the Jobst54 Editorial Team prepares job listings and application guides, handles sources and responds to reported mistakes.
Our Editorial Purpose
We aim to help readers understand advertised positions and prepare applications correctly. A listing should make the available requirements and submission instructions easier to follow, rather than simply repeat a promotional summary.
Jobst54 is an independent publisher. We are not the recruitment office for the employers mentioned on the website, and reading our content is free.
Sources and Attribution
Source material can include employer recruitment notices, newspaper advertisements and identified third-party job listings. We identify the source used and provide a reference link when available.
Where an original employer notice is available to us, we prefer it as the main reference. We do not describe a third-party job website as the employer’s official notice merely because it reports a vacancy.
We manually review the source details before preparing a listing. This does not mean that we contact every employer or independently authenticate every announcement. We do not add an “official” or “verified” label without a basis for it.
Source attribution supports transparency. It does not grant permission to reproduce a protected advertisement image or other material.
Preparing a Job Listing
We check the available details and organise them around the applicant’s questions:
- Who is hiring and which positions are advertised?
- What education, experience and other conditions apply to each role?
- Where is the job located, and are separate domicile or quota conditions stated?
- How must the application be submitted?
- Which documents, fees and deadlines are specified?
When several roles have different requirements, we explain them separately. We distinguish an application mailing address from a workplace location and do not treat a pay scale as an announced cash salary.
We do not invent missing qualifications, vacancies, salaries, benefits, portal steps or dates. Optional information may be omitted when it is unavailable. Important contradictions or unclear details need clarification before they can be stated as facts.
Writing Tools and Human Review
AI-assisted or other writing and formatting tools may help turn source information into a clear draft. They are not a substitute for the editorial review of job facts.
The editorial team is responsible for checking the final content against the available material before publication. We do not claim personal experience, employer contact or research that did not take place.
Application Guides and Examples
Guides explain practical tasks such as preparing a CV, completing a form and arranging documents. General guidance is kept separate from an employer’s mandatory requirements.
Fictional examples are labelled so they are not mistaken for real vacancies, official forms or personal employment records. Templates should be completed with the reader’s accurate information.
Where a guide discusses a particular tool or process, controls and requirements may change. Readers can report an outdated step through our contact page.
Corrections
To report a problem, send the page URL, identify the detail concerned and include supporting information when available. We review reports against the relevant source material or clarification.
If a material error is confirmed, we correct it. Changes affecting eligibility, the application route or the deadline should include a brief note explaining the correction. Minor spelling and formatting fixes do not usually need a separate note.
If an important detail cannot be resolved, we may flag the uncertainty or withdraw the affected content while it is reviewed. A report does not automatically establish that the listing is wrong.
Deadlines and Closed Vacancies
Recruitment may change after publication. When we confirm that a listing has closed or its deadline has passed, we aim to label it clearly so readers are not encouraged to apply to an expired vacancy.
An older listing may remain available as an archive. It should not be treated as a current opportunity simply because the page can still be opened.
We do not guarantee continuous monitoring of every employer or immediate updates to every listing. Before applying, check the current recruitment instructions and any later notices.
Advertising and Editorial Independence
If advertising appears on Jobst54, it is separate from our editorial application instructions. An advertisement is not an application destination unless the employer’s actual recruitment instructions identify it as such.
We do not offer guaranteed selection or accept recruitment payments on behalf of listed employers. Any paid editorial placement or relevant commercial relationship would need a clear disclosure rather than being presented as an ordinary independent listing.
